Sheraton Langkawi Beach Resort

For some reason this hotel was available for SPG points redemption during for the dates of our choice (and they usually aren't!), so we decided to give this hotel a try (also, points redemption was much more cheaper than redeeming a stay at the Andaman wahahahahhahah). this is another member of the Starwood Hotels and Resorts in Langkawi. The hotel is located along the way to Telaga Harbour from Padang Matsirat.

Whether you crave an active escape or a secluded sanctuary, stay at the Sheraton Langkawi beach resort, Malaysia. This resort allows for great panoramic views by being positioned on the northwestern shore of Peninsula Malaysia. Surrounding tropical gardens ensure that your holiday at Sheraton Langkawi is a serene, private experience.

Guests can relax by the infinity pool that offers picturesque views of the Andaman Sea or explore the mysterious flora and fauna in the resort’s landscape, which host majestic Dusky Leaf Monkeys as well as Flying Lemurs.

We have flying insects to greet us on our first day here!

It was very clear that the concept was very different. This was more for a couple looking for a get away, enjoying the beach and what it has to offer. Four Points by Sheraton was more for those on a business, or couldn’t decide if they want a conventional or a secluded stay. Sheraton was only 10 minutes drive from the airport, so getting to Pekan Kuah is kinda a hassle. So we kinda stay put from the moment we checked in.

Rather than one big complex that Four Points is, the hotel was mainly a central lobby building with the main restaurants For day dining - The Feast and swimming pool at the bottom of the building, and patrons stayed in smaller buildings by the sea or in the rainforest. The hotel provided us with electric buggy rides to hop between the lobby and the rooms as it involved negotiating steep inclines. The rooms were in group of about 10 - very comfortable I have to say.

Sheraton Langkawi Beach Resort boasts 238 oversized guest rooms, including 20 suites. All rooms are 52 square meters and feature full-length French doors which open onto private 11-square meter balconies.

Superior rooms offer a traditional wooden interior, reminiscent of traditional Malaysian architecture. Superior and Garden rooms feature views of the resorts tropical gardens and surrounds. Partial Sea View rooms share the same amenities, but instead offer views towards the sea.

As for food, there is a wide range of choice. These are the restaurants and bars available at Sheraton.

Sheraton Langkawi Beach Resort Restaurants & Bars

The Pool Bar - Offers pool-side dining with refreshing drinks or light lunches to enjoy. My favorite place through out my stay. Plus, whatever drinks you order, get those with alcohol! It's cheaper than drinks without! This is one of the reasons why I love Langkawi.

there are seats in the pool by the bar :)

we had different kind of mocktails, cocktails and ice cream. it was lush

Chime - The hotel's most happening night spot and the perfect place to you enjoy some relaxing aperitifs or groove to the resident DJ or live band.

we went there during the day for some cam-whoring time lol

The Spice Trader - This restaurant enchants with an exotic décor and delicious menu of Indian and Arabic specialties. Enjoy them at your table, or lounge on artfully arranged pillows and rugs for a unique dining experience.

Feast - The hotel's spacious and contemporary all day dining restaurant, set against the backdrop of a beautiful garden view, offers theme night buffets, interactive cooking stations, a la carte options, and a mix of delightful Asian and Western cuisine.
We had steak for breakfast here one day. The Asian me chose it cos it was almost the same price as the rest of the breakfast items on the menu. So why not eat like a king during breakfast?! :)
silly boy and his well done steak, we asked for medium-rare and Ricky flipped!!! lol
Captain’s Grill - Not to be missed, with gleaming features that you’d find on a real boat. Pamper your palate al fresco, under the blanket of glittering stars, while tucking into some great seafood and grilled specialties. We will cover this on another post as we had dinner here.

To get around the hotel grounds you need to do a lot of walking, so they provide you with free buggy service to get around. just pick up the phone and give them a ring. They gave us a map so we don't actually get lost. Of course, for those who love the exercise, you're free to walk.

We walked up to our room once after our evening swim and we both swear we will never ever do that again!
We were given an upgrade for the room. I was seriously momentarily speechless right after we unlocked the door and stepped into our 'room'. we were upgraded to the 'executive suite' - but hey, i'm not complaining.

my bubbles in bubbles moment!

POOL TIME and SELFIES!

Not forgetting my ANTM spread! lol
